Cell Phone

According to Ellen Goodman in the article, “Don’t Shear Your Life with Me,” the cell phone has made the live easier than before by keeping people and businesses in touch. However, there is an issue using it, which most people have sheared the person who does the call in public his or her live by hearing and understanding what is the caller talks about. In fact, the one who calls looks like living with him or her self. During the call, people who stand or stay around the caller often feel that they have disappeared.

In general, the author needs that to shows us how the cell phone has made the people share their lives with others. Actually, I agree with the author that it might not be dangerous to talk to someone while doing something around people, but the listeners will think that they have disappeared, for the caller ignores them during the call. In addition, it is interesting to know that people in the past who needed to call had to enter the phone booth, and they were in private place such as when Superman changed his clothes. However, today, cell phone makes the caller as a naked during the calling, and I agree with that.
